From your first day, experienced counselling tutors will support you as you build confidence and discover your own way of helping others and develop skills that can make a meaningful difference.

The CPCAB (Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body) CSK-L2 Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills introduces the foundations of a person-centred approach.

You will learn to use counselling skills ethically and safely in a range of roles and settings, while strengthening your understand of yourself and your relationships with others.

This qualification will lead to increased employability for those whose role is to support others in, for example, health and social care work, teaching and learning, advocacy and mediation, support and project work, and other helping roles.
It provides additional skills for those already in employment, likely to lead to increased opportunities for promotion and advancement.

Level 2 course start dates

August 2026: Saturdays 9.30am to 12.30pm. Course full and underway.
Tuesday, October 27 - From 6pm to 9pm (In person).
Thursday, November 26 - 6pm to 9pm (Online).

Cost & Duration

£800 for full course, including CPCAB registration

* Instalment options available - £260 on enrolment , followed by 6 x £90 monthly payments.

30 weeks training (90 guided learning hours)

No previous training or experience is required to undertake this qualification. Just complete the enrolment form and pay you deposit to secure your place on the course.
