We announced a few weeks ago that we had created a fast-track version of one of our most important counselling courses.
We wanted to ensure the Level 2 counselling skills qualification - a wonderful starting point for anyone interested in building a career as a therapist - was available to as many people as possible, including those with limited time to invest in training.
We know the counselling training we offer helps people forge exciting new careers, but we also recognise the hours our students need to put in may not always suit everyone.
So, earlier this year, we came up with the idea of running a fast-track version of our Level 2 Counselling Skills course. The first session will take place Saturday, April 26 and spaces are available.
This course, which is accredited by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body, (CPCAB), is perfect for people who are taking their first steps on the path to qualifying as therapists.
However, it is also also suitable for those who are simply interested in their own personal or professional development.

Our counselling and training manager Nick Roth explained at the time: "There are 12 full day sessions on Saturdays to complete the Level 2 fast-track.
"The traditional course runs over 30 weeks - so the fast-track is complete in three months, rather than a full academic year.
"The fast-track is demanding and quick-paced learning, but often suits people who are working full-time and will enable learners to start their Level 3 qualification in September.
"Normally a learner considering starting their training now would begin in September 2025 and qualify in July 2029 - take the fast-track level 2 and qualify in July 2028, a year less than the traditional pathway."
Speaking when we first announced the course, our director Della Kagure Brown said: "We are thrilled we're able to offer this method of studying and obtaining this qualification.
"The Level 2 course is very much an introduction to the counselling and therapy profession.
"Approaching their learning this way will help our students fast-forward their studies and move on the next level of learning if that is what they want."
Of course, the project offers a broad range of counselling training, all accredited by the CPCAB and we have a full calendar of courses running in 2025.
The starting dates for all of our counselling courses, including the fast-track Level 2 are:
Level 2 Fast-track – Saturday, April 26
Level 2 – Tuesday, September 8
Level 3 – Monday, September 7
Level 4 – Wednesday, September 9
Level 5 Integrative – Thursday, September 10
Level 5 Counselling Children and Young People – Monday, September 14
